4000 Play Schools
The Women & Child Development Department has taken a commendable step by upgrading 4,000 Anganwadi centers across the state into play schools. This initiative aims to promote the development and education of children aged 3 to 6 years in Anganwadi centres.
- Special arrangement of tables and chairs for children and staff.
- Likeable stories books for teaching and reading.
- Availability of toys and learning material kits.
- Provide training to 25962 Anganwadi workers.
- Increment in the number of children performing well from 25% to 49%.
