Nanhe Farishte is a podcast series is one of the milestones achieved by the Women and Child Development Department under the Mission Vatsalya to address concerns related to children with disability. The objective of Nanhe Farishte is to sensitise people about possibilities to prevent disability in through early intervention. This innovation is aligned with one of the objectives of Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD), Government of India to detect disability in children at early age as per Ministry’s ‘ANGANWADI PROTOCOL FOR DIVYANG CHILDREN’ – November 2023 and target of inclusion of persons with disability under Sustainable Development Goals.
