Beti Bachao Beti Padhao

Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” Programme has been implemented through campaign with the objective of improvement in sex ratio through societal change.The programme was launched on 22nd January, 2015 by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India. It has been implemented in all districts of Haryana except Mewat.As a result of cummulative efforts of community, social and non-government organization , the sex ratio in haryana crossed 900 mark for the first time.

Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandhana Yojna

A cash incentive of Rs5000 in three installments are paid directly to Pregnant Women and Lactating Mothers (PW&LM) for first living child of the family subject to their fulfilling specific conditions relating to Maternal and Child Health.The Scheme has been implemented w.e.f 1.1.2017 in all the Districts of Haryana. Earlier the scheme was known as a Conditional Maternity Benefit (CMB)- Indira Gandhi Matritva Sahyog Yojana (IGMSY)”- centrally Sponsored Scheme. Aapki Beti Hamari Beti

Aapki Beti Hamari Beti is a Haryana State Government Scheme in which a sum of Rs 21000 is invested with Life Insurance Corporation LIC in the id of 1st Girl child of SC/BPL families and 2nd child of family belonging to any caste. On attaining 18 years of age, the girl child will be paid a tentativeWith effect from 24.08.2015 third girl child born in families belonging to any caste were also covered.

Onestop Centre

One Stop Centres (OSCs) are intended to support women affected by violence, in private and public spaces, within the family, community and at the workplace. Women facing physical, sexual, emotional, psychological and economic abuse, irrespective of age, class, caste, education status, marital status, race and culture will be facilitated with support and redressal. Aggrieved women facing any kind of violence due to attempted sexual harassment, sexual assault, domestic violence, trafficking, honour related crimes, acid attacks or witch-hunting who have reached out or been referred to the OSC will be provided with specialized services.

Scheme for Relief and Rehabilitation of Women Acid Victims

Haryana Government is implementing a scheme for Relief and Rehabilitation of Women Acid Victims under which the assistance is provided to the victims of acid attack, who are residents of Haryana and have become victims of acid attack in Haryana.A sum of Rs. 1.00 lakh is paid to acid victim within 15 days of occurrence of such incident as adhoc relief.
