In pursuance of Rule No. 9 and 26 of
Constitution of National Children Fund, the Haryana State Children Fund
Committee has been constituted vide Notification No. 2104-SW(3)-2002 dated 27th
May, 2002 as given below:

Duration of
Membership
|
(1)
|
A
nominated member of the State Committee shall hold office continuously.
|
|
(2)
|
A
member of the State Committee shall cease to be a member if he dies,
resigns his membership or becomes of unsound mind or insolvent or is
convicted or criminal offence involving moral turpitude.
|
|
(3)
|
The
resignation of membership shall be tendered to the Chairperson of the
State Committee and shall become effective from the date of its
acceptance or on the expiry of thirty days after the date of
resignation, whichever is earlier.
|
Meeting of the State
Committee
The State Committee shall meet as
often as it is necessary to do so far the transaction of
business of the Fund and in any case at least once a year.
Powers and Functions of Secretary-Treasurer of the State
Committee
It shall be the duty of the Secretary Treasurer: -
a) to be the custodian of all records of the State Committee;
b) to conduct the official correspondence on behalf of the State
Committee;
c) to issue all notices for convening the meetings of the State Committee;
d) to keep minutes of all meetings of the State Committee the
responsibility for
convening whose meetings rest with him/her.;
e) to manage the properties and funds of the Fund, to maintain accounts
and
execute all contracts on behalf of the State Committee; and
f) to exercise all other powers and execute such other functions as may be
assigned
to him/her by the State Committee from time to time.

dated 27-05-2002 the Governor of Haryana is pleased to reconstitute the State
Committee of the Haryana State Children Fund as under: -
